April 3rd, 2026~Jesus Finished It; He Saved Us From Sin✨

ave a Blessed Good Friday with Jesus.✝️ Seek Him First. Meditate on John 19. Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice for sin. The word translated “finished” also means “paid in full.”  Jesus came to finish God’s work of salvation (4:34; 17:4), to pay the full penalty for our sins.

With His death the old system of animal sacrifice ended; Jesus took all sin upon Himself. Now we can freely approach God because of what Jesus did for us.

Here’s the best part: Those who believe in Jesus’ death and Resurrection can escape the penalty that comes from sin and live eternally with God.🙏🏾

“Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.” When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.”
