April 5th, 2023~Deny Human Desires; Obey God✨

Have a Blessed Holy Wednesday with Jesus. ✨ Seek Him First.  Jesus knew His crucifixion lay ahead, and because He was human, He dreaded it. He’d have to take on the sins of the world and also be temporarily separated from God.

Being fully human, He wanted to be delivered from this horrible death, but being fully God, He knew God the Father sent Him into the world to die for our sins, in our place. Jesus said no to His human desires in order to obey His Father and glorify Him.

““Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.”
