April 6th, 2023~Remember Jesus’ Commands✨

Have a Blessed Maundy Thursday with Jesus. ✨ Seek Him First.  Meditate on Luke 22 and John 13. Believers remember this day when Jesus has His last supper with His disciples. Just as they did long ago, the church eats this bread, representing Christs' body, and takes the cup symbolizing the new covenant that He was establishing in His blood, which was poured out for our sins.

We have a mandate to love everyone He loves. We remember His death for us in the past, and utilize His power and provisions for us in the present, until He returns for us in the future. 🙏🏾

“And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”
