April 8th, 2023~Jesus Keeps His Promises✨

Have a Blessed Holy Saturday with Jesus.✨ Seek Him First. Meditate on Matthew 12. Jonah tried to run from his assignment and spent three days in the belly of a huge fish. Once he grudgingly spoke God’s message to the people of Nineveh, he saw the whole city repent.

Jesus came to His people and they refused to repent. Jesus predicted His death and His resurrection. This would prove His identity as the Messiah. The prediction does not contradict Jesus’ death on a Friday afternoon and resurrection on Sunday morning because Jewish thought understood a “day” to include part of a day or night.

We know and believe Jesus destroyed old ways of life, defeated death, the grave; and now, we have access to new life in Christ through the power of His Resurrection!🙏🏾

“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.”
