August 26th, 2022~Deny Self; Gain Christ

Have a Blessed last Friday in August with Jesus.✨ Seek Him First. Meditate on Mark 8.  It’s easy to say you’re a follower of Jesus—until the going gets hard.

But Jesus expects us to identify with Him, even if it means experiencing rejection and suffering. He wants us to stop trying to control our own destiny and let Him direct us.

If we are willing to deny ourselves, (tell our desires “no” when they come in conflict with the kingdom) to pursue God’s kingdom agenda in His Word and publicly identify with Jesus Christ, you gain true life—intimate experience with God and even greater reward in eternity.🙏🏾
