December 14th, 2023~Only God is The Source of Joy and Strength✨

Have a Blessed Thursday with Jesus.❄️ Seek Him First. Meditate on Nehemiah 8. As Ezra read the God’s laws, the people heard the Words and wept openly. They knew they were far from obeying God’s Word.

Ezra told them they should be filled with joy because the day was holy. Nehemiah reminded them, and us today, it was time to celebrate and give gifts to others in need. Celebration was connected with giving. This gave those in need the opportunity to celebrate as well.

When we celebrate and give to others (even when we don’t feel like it), we are strengthened spiritually, and filled with joy. We must enter into celebrations that honor God and allow Him to fill you with His Joy.🙏🏾

”Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”“
