January 13th, 2023~Follow God’s Word-Not Man’s Traditions✨

Have a Blessed Friday with Jesus.✨Seek Him First. Meditate Matthew 15.  Jesus responded to the religious leaders that had issue with the disciples breaking tradition of the elders because they didn’t wash their hands before they ate. They considered it a religious duty signifying spiritual purity.

Jesus didn’t mince His Word. Jesus asked the religious leaders why they broke God’s commands for their traditions. He accused them of teaching human commands as doctrine. Jesus called them out and gave examples.

Traditions aren’t bad as long as they don’t cover up, camouflage or negate the Word  of God.🙏🏾
