January 27th, 2024~When We Choose Jesus~We Have Power✨

Have a Blessed last Saturday in January with Jesus.✨ Seek Him First. Meditate on Luke 10. When we make the choice to live for Christ, He prepares us for spiritual warfare. Jesus gives us authority to stand firm against evil in this world. When Jesus sent the seventy-two, they were amazed how demons submitted to them at the name of Jesus.

As special as this authority is for Spiritual warfare, it shouldn’t be a believers’ primary source of joy. Jesus shared with them it was more important the disciples’ names were written in Heaven (10:20). To have a relationship with God—to be citizens of the kingdom and headed toward glory—is to be our supreme source of joy. Everything else is a bonus.🙏🏾

”Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven.”“
