Have a Blessed Thursday with Jesus. seek Him First. Meditate on Philippians 2. *Selfish ambition can ruin a church, but humility can build it. Being humble is having true perspective about ourselves—not putting ourselves down. Before God, we are sinners, saved only by God’s Grace; but we are saved and therefore have great worth in God’s kingdom.
We are to lay aside selfishness and treat others with respect and common courtesy. Jesus Christ is the best example of humility.
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,”
Philippians 2:3 NIV
