Have a Blessed Tuesday with Jesus. ✨ Seek Him First. Meditate on Luke 6.
Jesus wasn’t talking about having affection for enemies, He was talking about choosing a conscious attitude toward them (Romans 12:14-21). We cannot fall into this kind of love—it is an act of will.
Loving our enemies means setting aside violence and revenge and acting in their best interests. We can have compassion for them, pray for them and try to understand them. God loves the whole world;even those that are in rebellion against Him. 🙏🏾
““But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”
