In our society, we are constantly seeking the approval of others. If we own a business, we provide a service and receive feedback about our service. When movies debut, the producers expect favorably high ratings. When we post a video on social media, we look for likes and shares.
How many of us focus on producing good Fruit and pleasing our Heavenly Father? While we are busy seeking ratings and approval, are we also studying our Word to show ourselves approved? As we carry on our daily routines, lets remember to stay focused and keep Jesus Christ first. How can we do this?
We can keep Christ first by walking in love. Since He is love and we claim to be His, we ought to resemble Him in some way (1 John 4:7-21). God has given us His Spirit. We need to sound like we know Him. When we open our mouths are we speaking with love? Are we forgiving our brothers and sisters? Are we seeking Our Father's face? Are we listening to the Holy Spirit inside of us? Or, are we simply doing so many other things that we have forgotten our goal God called us to achieve? We are running this race of life to obtain the higher calling which is in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
Let us keep it 100 with Jesus and confess everything. He is waiting for us to make Him our priority; not our worldly expectations. When we cast aside doubts and fears; fully trust Jesus and the power He gave us through the Holy Spirit; then our enemy, Satan, loses. Remember who seeks to destroy our relationship with Jesus (1 Peter 5:8-11). Never forget we overcame our enemy, by the blood of Jesus and our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
If you are far from Your Father, get closer today. Don't waste time. Jesus loves you more than you know!

Matthew 22:37-40
Jesus replied: "'Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
John 14:15
If you love me, keep my commandments.
