May 11th, 2025~Jesus Promised Joy Comes After Pain✨

Have a Blessed Mother’s Day with Jesus.🌷 Seek Him First. Meditate on John 16. Jesus gives His disciples, and us today, reassurance that their pain would lead to joy.

Jesus foretold the great sorrow they would soon experience after His crucifixion (while the world rejoiced), but He also shared good news that their grief would turn to Joy at His Resurrection.

Jesus gave an illustration of a woman experiencing labor going through great pain. But when her child is born, her suffering is forgotten and replaced by rejoicing. No one can take away your Joy, because it is rooted in the presence and work Jesus Christ on the inside. 🙏🏾

“Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. A woman, when she is in labor, has sorrow because her hour has come; but as soon as she has given birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.”
