September 16th, 2023~Believers Must Hear and Obey The Word✨

Have a Blessed Saturday with Jesus. ✨Seek Him First. Meditate on Luke 11. Jesus was speaking to people that put an extremely high value on family ties.

These genealogies were important guarantees that they were part of God’s chosen people. The man’s value came from his ancestors , and a woman’s value was often tied to the sons she bore.

Jesus’ response to the woman meant a person’s obedience to God is more important than their place on a family tree. Admiring Christ, attending church and carrying a Bible does not replace obedience to Christ.🙏🏾
