Have a Blessed Labor Day with Jesus.✨ Seek Him First. When in Christ, we must abandon our old way of life that we followed before we believed in Christ and leave it in the past. Leave sin, shame and regret behind you like old clothes to be thrown away.
When we accept Christ gift of salvation, it requires a once-for- all-time decision, conscious commitment. We must no longer be driven by our old sinful desires and impulses. We must put on the new self, dress for action, head in the new direction, and use the new way of thinking that the Holy Spirit gives us
(see Colossians 3:5-15).
“and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
